1. What is the SheGrows Scholarship Program?

The SheGrows Scholarship Program is an initiative by LearnSimply Academy, led by Dr. Kawita Bapat, to support deserving female students who are the first in their family to pursue an MBBS degree at a government medical college. The scholarship is based on financial need and aims to sponsor the first-year tuition fees.

2. Who can apply for the scholarship?

Female students who meet the following criteria:
1. Financially underprivileged background (annual income below ₹5 lakh)
2. First-generation doctor in their family
3. Secured admission to a government medical college for MBBS
4. Cleared NEET with a merit-based selection.

3. What expenses does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship will sponsor the first-year tuition fees of the selected candidates at government medical colleges. For rural and EWS students, the scholarship may also provide assistance with hostel fees.

4. Is this scholarship applicable to private medical colleges?

No, the scholarship is exclusively for students admitted to government medical colleges in India.

5. How many students will be awarded this scholarship?

The number of scholarships awarded each year will depend on available funds and the number of eligible applicants.

6. How can I apply for the scholarship?

✔ Domicile Certificate (if required)
✔ A Personal Statement (explaining financial need and aspirations)

8. What is the last date to apply?

9. How are the scholarship recipients selected?

The selection process includes:
