The SheGrows Scholarship Program is exclusively for female students. Only individuals identifying as female are eligible to apply.

Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship by providing relevant documents such as family income proof, tax returns, or any other documentation that supports the financial need.

The SheGrows Scholarship is a need-based scholarship, aimed at helping students who are unable to afford the cost of education.

The scholarship is designed to assist students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The applicant must be the first in her immediate family (parents or siblings) to pursue a medical degree (MBBS). This criterion ensures that the scholarship specifically benefits those from families with no prior exposure to the medical profession, offering them an opportunity to break generational barriers.

The scholarship is only available to students who have secured admission to a Government Medical College in India for the MBBS program. Applicants must provide evidence of admission through a valid admission letter from the respective college.

Applicants must have qualified for MBBS admission through NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). The applicant must have secured admission to a Government Medical College based on merit, determined by their NEET score. The scholarship is awarded to meritorious students who demonstrate academic excellence through the NEET results.

The applicant must be an Indian citizen to apply for the SheGrows Scholarship Program. The scholarship is intended to support students who are pursuing education in India, specifically in Government Medical Colleges.

Applicants must be between the ages of 17 to 25 years at the time of application. This age range ensures that the scholarship is targeting students who are in the early stages of their medical education.

Applicants must have a minimum of 50% marks in their higher secondary education (12th grade) in subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, to ensure that students have the required foundational knowledge for medical studies.

Applicants from rural areas, marginalized communities, or those with physical disabilities may be given special consideration, as long as they meet the primary eligibility criteria. If applicable, candidates should submit supporting documents that demonstrate their background or circumstances.

Applicants must submit the following documents as part of the application process:

• Proof of Indian Citizenship (e.g., Aadhar card, passport)
• NEET Scorecard showing successful qualification
• Admission letter from a Government Medical College in India
• Proof of financial need (e.g., family income certificate, bank statements, tax returns)
• Class 12th mark sheet and other academic records
• Personal statement or essay outlining the applicant’s motivation, challenges, and career goals in medicine
• Parent/guardian’s details (income proof, if necessary)
• Any additional documents required based on special considerations (if applicable)
